Just because it is a little colder and wetter this time of year it does not mean you cannot enjoy an eBike tour, you just have to be a little more prepared and not be too bothered by the odd drop of rain
Some of the best tours happen at this time of year when the Peak District is less busy and our beautiful landscapes are enhanced by different weather conditions. Even when you get wet there is nothing better than drying off in front of log fire in one of the many country pubs on our tours having been out in the great outdoors
That said your chances of bad weather are much higher in the Autumn and Winter so you definitely need to bring spare layers of clothing for warmth, a waterproof jacket, warm socks and gloves that are warm but too thick so you can still use the brakes and gears. All the eBikes have waterproof panniers for carrying your extra kit and we do supply hi-viz waistcoats for poorer light conditions
The eBikes are also very capable in different weather conditions with built in lights, mudguards, all terrain tyres, disc brakes and full suspension you just need to ride to suit the conditions (we will always discuss this at the start of any tour)
Take a look at our Tour Prepation page for more details on things to consider. You can also review the current weather conditions
